I have frequently discussed the importance of recognizing the right time to initiate change and the methods to effect changes in your life. These steps, among others, are important for envisioning and becoming the person you aspire to be. To become is to grow, change, and transform. "Becoming" is not a final destination but a continuous journey. As we evolve, our perspectives and actions shift, unveiling new and limitless opportunities!
Transforming into a new version of yourself is a choice driven by the wish to Be, Do, and Experience in a different way. This transformation represents Growth. It occurs through both minor steps and major leaps, and regardless of their size, each progression should be acknowledged and celebrated. The initial spark of change within your desires must be cultivated to flourish and become reality; just as a seedling doesn't transform into a towering oak tree instantly, but gradually, with the right care, it is certain to happen.
There will be moments when you notice the changes you desire beginning to take hold, and it feels wonderful! Feeling good about yourself and your progress will provide the momentum to advance further. However, there will also be times when you don't meet your new expectations, and it feels like a setback, tempting you to criticize yourself for "failing." This isn't the moment to be harsh on yourself or to spiral into thinking it's impossible and that you are just who you were. Setbacks are part of the journey; change isn't always a straight line up! It's a time to offer yourself grace, love, and forgiveness for not accomplishing something. Reflect, learn, and understand when you temporarily deviate from the new routine you selected. Understanding why we don't pursue the things we want for our lives helps us overcome the limits we place on ourselves. You are Allowed to Change. Move beyond any setback with greater insight and enthusiasm, knowing you are stronger and more determined for overcoming a bump in the road!
